# Search Categories

> Searches Google's Business Profile categories by name for a country

Searches Google's Business Profile categories by name for a country. Use it to find category IDs (name, like 'categories/gcid:fishing\_charter') before changing a location's categories with business\_profile\_update\_location.

## Inputs

## Output

**Type**: `List[Dict]`

Returns matching categories with their ID and display name.

**Fields**: `name`, `displayName`
