# Create Zone

> Creates a zone in a Google Tag Manager workspace from a raw resource payload

Creates a zone in a Google Tag Manager workspace from a raw resource payload. Zones control which tags third parties may add to a Google Tag Manager container (GTM 360). Version and publish to take changes live.
