# Create Automated Rule

> Create a Meta automated rule for scheduled or condition-based campaign, ad set or ad changes

Create a Meta automated rule for scheduled or condition-based campaign, ad set or ad changes. New rules default to disabled.

## Inputs

Defines target entities and conditions. To retarget an existing rule, read it first and preserve its other filters. On update supply the complete replacement evaluation\_spec, not just the changed filter. |
