# Delete Ad Creatives

> Permanently delete ad creatives from a Meta ad account's creative library

Permanently delete ad creatives from a Meta ad account's creative library. Deleting a creative does not delete or stop the ads that use it; to delete ads, use meta\_ads\_update\_ad\_status with DELETED.

## Inputs

| `account` | DynamicAccount | Yes | - | The Meta Ads account the creatives belong to. The run deletes nothing if any creative belongs to another account. |
| `creative_ids` | array of string or string | Yes | - | Ad creative IDs to delete permanently, as a list or comma-separated text (up to 100 per run), e.g. \['120249701623300208']. Take them from the creative field of meta\_ads\_list\_ads or meta\_ads\_get\_ad. Ads using a deleted creative are not deleted; Meta keeps them pointing at the deleted creative, so delete or archive the ads themselves with meta\_ads\_update\_ad\_status. |
| `return_detailed_results` | boolean | No | `False` | If true, returns every creative's result and does NOT raise an error when some deletions fail. If false (default), raises an error when any deletion fails. |

## Output

**Type**: `Dict`

Returns total\_count, deleted\_count, failed\_count and results: one entry per creative with creative\_id, name, status (deleted or error) and error.
