# Appeal Editorial Rejections

> Submit editorial rejection appeals for ads, keywords and other supported Microsoft Ads entities

Submit editorial rejection appeals for ads, keywords and other supported Microsoft Ads entities. Submission does not mean approval. A new appeal replaces a pending appeal; already-approved entities are ignored.

| | |
| - | - |
| **App** | Microsoft Ads |
| **Operation ID** | `microsoft_ads_appeal_editorial_rejections` |
| **Type** | Action |
| **Connection** | `microsoft_ads` (required) |
| **Credits per run** | 1 |
| **Agent / MCP tool** | Yes |
| **Requires approval** | Yes (write operation) |

## Inputs

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `account` | object or array of object or MicrosoftAdsAccountItem or string or integer | Yes | - | Microsoft Ads account that owns the rejected entities. |
| `entity_type` | enum (`Ad`, `AdGroup`, `AssetGroup`, `Campaign`, `ImageAsset`, `Keyword`, `TextAsset`) | Yes | - | Native Microsoft entity type. All supplied entities must have this type. |
| `entities` | array of EditorialAppealEntity | Yes | - | Entity/parent pairs as an array or JSON text, e.g. \[\{"EntityId":"123456789","ParentId":"987654321"}]. For ads/keywords ParentId is the ad group ID; for AssetGroup it is the campaign ID. Requests are automatically batched at 1,000 entities (100 for AssetGroup). Approved entities are ignored by Microsoft; a new appeal replaces any pending appeal. Use list\_ads/list\_keywords with include\_editorial\_reasons=true to inspect eligibility first. |
| `justification_text` | string | Yes | - | Explain why the entities comply with Microsoft editorial policy (maximum 1,000 characters). The same justification applies to every supplied entity. Submission does not mean approval. |

### EditorialAppealEntity

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `EntityId` | string | Yes | - | Microsoft entity ID to appeal. |
| `ParentId` | string | Yes | - | Native parent ID. For ads and keywords use the ad group ID; for asset groups use the campaign ID. |

### MicrosoftAdsAccountItem

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `value` | string | Yes | - | |
| `label` | string | Yes | - | |
| `customerId` | string | No | - | The Microsoft Ads customer ID used for REST CustomerId headers. If omitted, it is resolved from the account ID. |

## Output

**Type**: `Dict`

Returns per-entity submission status (submitted, failed, unconfirmed or not\_attempted), counts, and batches with native PartialErrors and TrackingId. Submitted means no submission error was reported, not approval. Unconfirmed batches stop further submissions and retain earlier results; inspect status before retrying.

**Fields**: `account_id`, `entity_type`, `submitted_count`, `failed_count`, `unconfirmed_count`, `not_attempted_count`, `results`, `batches`, `message`
